“Through His resurrection, Christ heals man from death and corruption”

In the pastoral letter for Holy Easter, the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel talks about Jesus Christ as a healer, the one who “he identifies himself with human nature weakened by sin, although he has no sin; He does not heal from the outside, but from the inside.”

During his earthly life, His Beatitude explains, “Christ the Lord, through all that he is as God-Man, through all that he teaches and does, actually heals and renews, sanctifies and elevates our human nature, because he unites the human will with the divine will, fulfilling the will of God – Father, through humble obedience and self-giving, in love for God and for people”.

At the same time, in the pastoral message, the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel reiterated the fact that peace of mind is only accessible through faith and spiritual effort.

“For the healing and salvation of our soul and body, we need a lot of faith and a lot of perseverance in prayer, as well as a merciful love towards our fellow men”. states the Patriarch of Romania.
