Electric, hybrid or compressed natural gas powered minibuses for students from Ilfov

Students from Ilfov county will arrive at school with new minibuses – electric, hybrid or powered by compressed natural gas, after a 25 million lei financing was obtained for their purchase.

The Environment Fund administration approved the file of the Ilfov County Council as part of a program to improve the quality of the environment.

Thus, a financing of 25 million lei (over 5 million euros) was obtained for the purchase of school minibuses in the category of electric, hybrid or compressed natural gas powered minibuses.

• “It’s another important step we’re taking to provide residents with a cleaner environment with less pollution. This funding is added to another project, currently being implemented, through which CJ Ilfov obtained funding through PNRR in 2023 to buy 33 electric school minibuses. Together for an environmentally friendly school transport!”, the vice-president of the Ilfov County Council, Ștefan Rădulescu, sent on Facebook.
