This morning, the police officers of the Prahova County Police Inspectorate-Economic Crime Investigation Service under the coordination of the prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Ploiești District Court, executed four home search warrants, within the Bucharest municipality, in two different criminal cases, conducting investigations into the commission of the crimes of fraud, material falsification of official documents, use of forgery and attempted fraud.
In fact, in the first case, during August 2023, a commercial company would have misled an economic operator, from Prahova county, in the sense that it would have concluded with him a contract in the field of financial consulting, claiming and obtaining approximately 46,500 of lei, in order to prepare the necessary documentation to access non-reimbursable European funds, for the purchase of machinery.
In the second case, the person suspected of committing the act would have used a falsified retirement decision and requested a bank loan.
Four people will be taken to the headquarters of the police unit for questioning.
The actions benefited from the support of the Prahova Special Actions Service fighters.
