Andrei Carabelea, the mayor of Piatra Neamț, discussed the importance of the works on the water main, considering them vital for the community. He claims that this new highway is not a whim, but an imperative necessity.

In an interview, the mayor from the management of Piatra Neamț, conveyed the fact that the new water main was a necessity that had to be solved by other people and not the town hall.

He stated that the company Apaserv, which belonged to the County Council, was responsible for this work. Thus, this should have been a paper supported by the aforementioned institution.

Who took care of the water main in Piatra Neamț?

“But things are not as they should be, and we undertook this investment, being one of the most complicated possible. Because here we are sneaking a new highway through a spider’s web. Gas, electricity, fiber optic networks and, of course, distribution and water networks”, Andrei Carabela said.

PSD is also to blame for the old water pipe.

“And look at what the water pipes look like. These are actually the PSD labels and emblem, because this is the level of competence PSD has. They destroy the quality of services and they do it on the cost Pietreni”, declared Andrei Carabelea.

He conveyed the fact that in parallel with the new highway, the old one still exists. In this case, there are numerous losses of water, but also situations in which Apaserv stops the supply of drinking water to Pietre residents and Germans.

“Once again I say: the new water main is not a fad, it is a necessity. The water pipe is laid, it is welded, it is 100% complete. And out of 30 or so dormitories, we still have three to install like me. In a few months, by the end of April actually, this work will be completed and immediately we will start the compaction works and the preparation of the support layer of the road system for laying athe asphalt”, the mayor said.

The new water main in Piatra Neamț will be ready in the summer

Apparently this has been a situation for several months. Andrei Carabelea said that this project will be ready in the summer of this year. It will also be the most important ultra modernized artery of the city.

“Today we have to be honest: the water pipe is so worn out so that I cannot recommend the people of Pietre to drink this water except by using special filters. The mayor’s office has started these works and we will continue,” the mayor said, writes infofinanciar.ro.

The official in charge of the Piatra Neamț Town Hall conveyed the fact that the stake is a team that will work both within the town hall and within the County Council.

“Together to be able to build, to be able to build the utilities, functionalities and public services needed by the citizens of Pietre a high level of quality.
