The place in Romania that seems torn from a fairy tale is in Mureș. Anyone who arrives at Sânpetru de Câmpie is in for a truly spectacular view. With the arrival of spring, tens of thousands of yellow peonies bloomed.

What happens here every year before Easter

And the area looks like a nature reserve. We mention the fact that this place, as if torn from a fairy tale, is only 40 kilometers from Târgu Mureș. Once you reach here, the explosion of flowers combined with the green meadow and blue sky will leave you speechless.

Interestingly, the phenomenon is not necessarily a new one. Specifically, every year peonies bloom before Easter. They can be admired for almost a month, says a local.

At the same time, he says that some people come just to admire them. “There were other people who came and visited by bus as well. Some beautiful flowers that have always been here, with us”, says Daniel Nașca, a local, according to observernews.ro.

For her part, another local woman from the area confirms this. It seems that this place in Romania, as if torn from a fairy tale, attracts a lot of people who enjoy what they can see “Many people come and see them in the spring. It blooms very quickly, together with the trees, with the apricots, with the peaches”, completed this.

We mention the fact that in reality, the yellow steppe peonies are even a symbol of the town of Sânpetru de Câmpie. Those who were born in the area say that they remind them of their childhood, the landscape being about the same.

And the authorities have some plans in this regard. Specifically, they want the area to become a nature reserve. This could follow the model of the Zau de Câmpie peony reserve. This was declared a protected area in 2000.
