The President of the Gorj County Council submitted his candidacy for a new mandate! Here is the PSD list for county councilors! – GorjOnline

Cosmin Popescu, acting president of the Gorj County Council and executive president of the PSD county organization, said he will continue to work for the community and bring stability and progress to Gorj. Popescu submitted his candidacy for the third term as president of the Gorj County Council.

“I am honored by the trust that the Gorjani have given me and I am glad that I did not disappoint them. Since 2016, when we started this journey together, we have set out and done great things. I knew what the needs of the Gorge were and I put myself at the service of the citizens, that’s why the achievements so far are based on the wishes of the people. I am convinced that we will continue this journey arm in arm, because people trust me and I trust them!”, declared Cosmin Mihai Popescu.

In addition, they were also submitted the PSD lists of candidates for the positions of county councilors.

The list is opened by the president Cosmin Popescu, and the following positions include renowned doctors Dragoș Davițoiu and Bogdan Niculescu. The list continues with Sabin Cornoiu, head of Salvamont Romania, Anca Bordușanu, executive secretary of PSD Gorj and Gheorghe Nichifor, current vice president of CJ Gorj.

Cosmin Popescu addressed a message of gratitude to the supporters and residents of Gorj. After two terms in office, he thanked them for their trust and announced that he is running for a new term.

In his statement, Popescu emphasized: “With a deep sense of responsibility and optimism, I submitted my candidacy for the third term as president of the Gorj County Council. Together with the PSD team, we turned the projects into reality together, bringing progress and stability to our community. Thank you for your trust and I invite you to continue together. For Gorj, for each of us!”

The president of PSD Gorj, deputy Mihai Weber, stated that he has full confidence in Cosmin Popescu, whom he considers a real balancing factor in this county. “I congratulate the PSD team from the Gorj County Council, for everything they have achieved so far in the interest of the county and the people of Gorj, and thanks to this fact, the president of the County Council, together with the team of advisers, will achieve the results we proposed, in the June 9 elections. Cosmin Popescu represents a real factor of balance in this county, who, together with the mayors and the institutions he collaborates with, managed to get to the essence of the problems facing this county and, finally, reached the gorjeni”, he Mihai Weber added.
