The Government of Ukraine approved an agreement with the Cabinet of Ministers of Romania regarding the opening of a new control point on the border between the two countries, announced the representative of the Ukrainian Government in the Supreme Rada, Taras Melniciuk.

“An agreement (in the form of an exchange of notes) was approved between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Romania regarding the opening of a new international control point at the Ukrainian-Romanian state border between the localities of Bila Țerkva (Ukraine) and Sighetu Marmaţiei (Romania) )” – says a statement published on Melniciuk’s Telegram channel.

According to the Government’s press service, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denis Shmigal, stated, at a cabinet meeting on April 2, that it is planned to create nine new border crossing points in the western direction and to modernize another 13. “This will provide great opportunities for Ukrainian exports and will accelerate our sectoral integration in the European Union” – said the Ukrainian Prime Minister, quoted by the “Uriad Online” Telegram channel./ssirbu/csimion
