Over 60 kilometers of county roads will be modernized – Radio Romania Oltenia Craiova

In Gorj, over 60 kilometers of county roads will be modernized in the coming period. On Monday, April 1, the evaluation of the offers for the execution of works on the county road segment 663A, which will facilitate an improved connection between Târgu Jiu and the localities of Botorogi, Văcarea and Târculești, began.

At the same time, the technical and financial proposals for the modernization of county road 662, Capu Dealului-Gilort-Pârâu-Groșrea-Aninoasa-Bibești-Andreești-Vladimir-Totea-Totea de Hurezani-Hurezani, are being evaluated. Both projects, with a total value estimated at 55 million euros, are financed from European funds and from the county’s own budget, through the South-West Regional Program 2021-2027.

The Gorj County Council intends to issue the orders to start the works immediately after the completion of the evaluation of the submitted offers for the two investment objectives and the signing of the execution contracts, said the president of the forum, Cosmin Popescu.
