PREVENTIVE ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT BY THE POLICE

During the last week, the police officers of the Office of School Safety carried out preventive-educational activities in which more than 2800 students from the county participated. The approach to the activities was diverse, but with an emphasis on the prevention of any form of violence in the school environment and the consumption of psychoactive substances among students.

In the city of Mărășești, the police officers of the School Safety Bureau and the Mărășești City Police, in collaboration with the Vrancea Anti-Drug Prevention Evaluation and Counseling Center, organized a series of preventive activities in the framework of the campaign “Once, it can become forever!”, to prevent drug use of psychoactive substances, at the Mărășești Children’s Club, the “Volunteering for Life” Association and at the “Speranta” and “Betel” Churches.

The non-formal debate-type activities attracted the present audience, which appreciated and actively engaged in the discussions held on several topics, respectively: prevention of violence, prevention of victimization of minors, prevention of bullying, prevention of juvenile delinquency, criminal responsibility of minors, prevention of the consumption of psychoactive substances.

Similar activities took place at the School Center for Inclusive Education “Elena Doamna” in the municipality of Focșani, the Art High School “Gh. Tattarescu”, school units in the municipalities of Focșani and Adjud, the city of Panciu as well as in the communes of Vânători, Slobozia Bradului and Dumbrăveni.

Panciu City Police was a partner in a project on the prevention of drug use in educational institutions, students of classes IX-XII participating in the competition”My anti-drug message“, during which they had to make a thematic video clip, a drawing and an essay. The awards ceremony, which was also attended by the police officers from School Safety, took place in the performance hall of the “Ioan Slavici” Panciu Theoretical High School.

At the same time, we congratulate all the students who sent us drawings in the contest “Vrancea Police, my Police!” and they put on paper a part of their soul, emotion and wonderful wishes that charged us with a lot of positive energy.

First place in the contest was awarded to a student of CSEI “Elena Doamna”, second place – High School of Arts “Gh. Tattarescu” and the third place, to a student from Slobozia Bradului High School.

School security police officers will continue their activities, in order to have a safe climate in schools and for a harmonious development of the most beloved people in our lives, the “children”.
