Cristian Gentea officially submitted his candidacy, this morning, for a new mandate as mayor of Pitesti.

Next to him was Ion Mînzina, the president of the Argeș County Council.

“Dear citizens of Pitesti,

It’s been three and a half years since I held a public office that I treated as an honor and a huge responsibility.

Pitesti is a large urban center, which raises many challenges, on all administrative levels: infrastructure, utility networks, services to the population, public-private partnership, local heritage, education, health, culture, sports, social care, etc.

It has been my belief from the start that no task is too hard or too big if you are driven by ambition, love to work and have the ability to manage teams to performance.

After these three and a half years, I am able to come before you with my forehead high and my soul open.

The people have officially submitted their candidacy! Lie was with him!

With these thoughts, this morning I officially submitted my candidacy for a new mayoral term, together with a team at least as efficient as the previous one.

We have many projects to take forward, because the pace at which Pitesti is developing must be continued.

It is our mission: to position this superb, alive and strong municipality where it belongs in the region and in Romania!

Moving forward on the same path, I can gratefully convey to you:

Several PSD members took part in the event, such as: Gelu Tofan, Ana Stan, Dănuț Dinu, Dumitru Tudosoiu, Ionel Didea, Lucrețiu Tudor, etc.

We remind you that Ion Mînzînă and Cristian Gentea launched their candidacy on Saturday, April 20.

The two were confirmed in the presence of Prime Minister Ciolacu and the Minister of Labour, Simona Bucura-Oprescu.
