Valea Mare City Hall won 1 million euros for asphalting all the streets in the commune

The Valea Mare town hall won a 1 million euro financing through the Rural Investment Financing Agency (AFIR) for the asphalting of all the streets in the commune, the works will start after the completion of the water and sewage projects, Mayor Bogdan Marin said.

According to the mayor, within the project, retaining walls will be built, ditches, road ditches and markings will be made, and road signs will be placed.

“We want to share with you a long-awaited news, news that will certainly please you. In the selection report published by AFIR, the project Modernization of the road infrastructure in Valea Mare Commune, Jud. Covasna has been declared eligible for funding. Therefore, through this project we will pave all the streets in the locality, retaining walls, ditches, road ditches, markings and road signs will be made. We want the execution of the project to start immediately after the completion of the water and sewage projects (…) I thank my team and everyone involved for this project to be submitted and declared the winner. In the next period we will take care of the rest of the procedures to bring this project to the execution stage. Water, sewerage and asphalting are the most important building and infrastructure projects, the most important investments that are the basis of the development of our commune and are necessary and vital for the quality and comfort of all”, said Mayor Bogdan Marin.

The total value of the project is 1,687,150 euros, of which AFIR funding is 1,000,000 euros.
