Gigi Becali threatened to withdraw from public life for a while and that he goes and hides in the caves. It was not in the caves, but at a monastery that he built in Vâlcea county. There he observed black fasting, prayed non-stop, did not eat anything from morning until evening and did not miss a single service.
“There I built a monastery, you know well, the Comanca monastery, I stayed there for 5 days. I only did jobs from evening to morning. Fasting is fasting, that is… if you don’t fast, you can’t refrain from the other passions. If you eat a lot, that’s what you look for women.
I refrained from everything, from cravings, if I like something too much, I don’t eat. From cravings, from pleasures. We must live like Christ. The fast is that I got up in the morning and I haven’t eaten anything until now, I eat tonight at 07:00 – 08:00″, Gigi Becali told Romania TV.
