What is the Youth Capital of Romania?

The Romanian Youth Capital is a youth framework program, created at the national level, which operates on similar principles to those of the European Youth Capital.

The program allows youth and youth organizations to promote the themes important to the social category they represent and helps local authorities to identify their problems and attract public and private investments to solve them and develop support ecosystems.

Annually, a city in Romania receives, following a concept contest, the title of the Youth Capital of Romania and is financially supported, respectively through training and consultancy, in the preparation and implementation of the initiatives in the application file.
