Oradea City Hall decided to amend the sanitation regulations. As we have become accustomed to, the change was made without a serious public debate. It seems to me a strategic mistake, because splitting the thread into four when it comes to the problems of all residents can lead to good solutions, where you also eliminate suspicions and speculations from the start.
With guts
Hold on tight, the tumultuous period, marked by agitation and circus, of the election campaign is coming! The pre-campaign is already underway, some competitors hurrying to steal the start and occupy the public space with messages and initiatives that are more and more colorful, not to say sleazy. The landscape is sad and disappointing, especially in terms of the quality of the politicians who populate it, but also the messages circulated, most of which stem from a disillusioned populism.
I’m just saying
Oradea and Bihor have reached a prosperous period, as from the perspective of infrastructure development, they have never known before. This year, a lot of new roads, about 70 kilometers, are being opened to traffic: the connection between the Oradea belt – Autostrada Transilvania (right at the end of this week), plus the Sânmartin, Aleșd, Beiuș, Oșorhei, Nojorid, Sântandrei belts (in the summer). The “miracle” could be explained by the fact that 2024 is an election year. And, yes, it is! But, still, this is not the explanation, but the passage of the entire evolution from the germination to the ripening of the projects.
