--

This week, the “King Ferdinand” Secondary School in Sibiu hosted a special event that brought the community together to celebrate the Easter holiday in a way that school representatives call completely unique.

On Thursday, April 25, 2024, the first edition of the “Giving Bunny” Easter Fair was organized. This bazaar was attended by 24 classes, 35 teachers, approximately 540 students, along with over 500 volunteer parents and grandparents. Stands were organized for the sale of products made or prepared by students such as: pastries, sweets, Easter ornaments, lemonade, etc. The Easter Fair was an opportunity to explore traditions, creativity and shared joy. Visitors were greeted by a lively setting with Easter decorations and warm smiles.

“The most important aspect of the bazaar was how we were able to bring the community together in a spirit of solidarity and generosity. As we enjoyed the delicious foods and beautiful crafts, we felt our bond grow and our shared commitment to our core values of community and learning. Once again, we thank all the partners, the students’ parents and the teaching staff for the support offered in carrying out this activity, and I congratulate all the school’s students for their involvement”, says director Gheorghe Bîrza.

The bazaar has created an authentic environment that reflects the spirit and values of the Easter holiday. All the money resulting from the sale of handmade products and sweets will be donated to the Parents’ Association of “Regele Ferdinand” Sibiu Secondary School, to be used for purposes useful to the students.
