Trade unionist Constantin Crețan believes that miners and energy workers will be cheated with the introduction of increases and financial bonuses in the basic salary. Crețan is convinced that people will not enjoy too much of a salary increase.
Constantin Crețan believes that people will be misled and will rejoice in vain.
“Miners and energy people are going to be badly screwed and I’ll tell you why. This machination that the Oltenia Energy Complex management is doing together with the unions is a strategy by which people will lose. They are misleading them by introducing certain entitlements into their basic pay and in fact there is no increase in the basic pay either. They will be satisfied that their basic salary has increased, but the increase is insignificant”, said Constantin Crețan, in an interview on Radio Infinit.
A decision in this regard was not taken, but was negotiated. The unions reasoned that they wanted to include the premiums and all bonuses in the basic salary so that there was no risk that people would not receive anything if the company were to lose money in a month.
As for the Easter premium, in this chapter it was decided that it should be 4,000 lei gross and be granted at the beginning of May. The new collective labor agreement should enter into force on May 1.
