VIDEO and PHOTO: Completed rehabilitation works at the buildings where the public services of passports, population records, registrations and permits operated

Another investment carried out by the Vrancea County Council, financed by European funds, is at the end. The Vice-President of the Vrancea County Council, Ionel the Great, made a field visit to the newly rehabilitated buildings on Cuza Vodă Street no. 56, where the public services of passports, population records, registrations and permits operated. The Vrancea County Council is running the project “Energy rehabilitation and related works at buildings C5, C6 and C7, str. Cuza Vodă no. 56”, the works being completed.

The financing was provided from European funds, within the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020, the total value of the project being 7,393,442 lei. “We are at the end of a rehabilitation project of the building bodies where several public services have been functioning and I am glad that it is a success, especially since the works were carried out 2 months earlier than the completion deadline“, said the vice president Ionel the Great.

The works consisted in the energy rehabilitation of the building (thermal insulation, change of carpentry and interior and exterior doors, purchase of heat pumps, fan-converters), and related works included: repair of the plaster on the interior walls, repair of the roof, installation of tiles throughout the building, new voice and data system, fire alarm. The work was completed at the beginning of March, 2 months earlier than planned.
