I haven’t escaped winter! Even though we are already at the end of March, according to Accuweather meteorologists, winter does not go away so easily!

Therefore, the snow will not be missing from the April landscape, meteorologists announce. Spring can be expected, especially in the mountain area, where it will snow several times in April!

In Predeal, for example, even if the beginning of the month will start with high temperatures, reaching even 20 degrees, the weather breaks again, reaching lows below the freezing point.

Weather forecast for the next 4 weeks

The National Meteorological Administration issued the weather forecast for the next 4 weeks, between March 25 and April 22, 2024. According to meteorologists, the temperatures will be higher than the April averages, in some areas being rather specific for the beginning of summer.

Week of March 25 – April 1

The thermal values ​​will be higher than the specific ones for this week throughout Romania, but especially in the western, northwestern and northeastern regions. The rainfall regime will be slightly surplus, locally, in the southern and southeastern regions, and in the rest it will be generally deficient, especially in the northeast of the territory.

Week 1 – 8 April

Average temperatures will be higher than normal for this range across the country, but with a more pronounced positive thermal deviation in the eastern and southeastern regions. The amounts of precipitation will be excess in the western, northwestern and central regions, but especially in the area of ​​the Apuseni Mountains and in the north of the Eastern Carpathians, and otherwise they will be close to normal for this period.

Week 8 -15 April

The average air temperature will be higher than normal for this range in all regions. The rainfall regime will have a slightly excess trend in most of the country, but especially in the mountainous areas.

Week 15 – 22 April

Average thermal values ​​will be slightly above the specific ones for this week, throughout the territory of Romania. Rainfall amounts will generally be close to normal for this period across most of the country.
