“I was surprised by the speed of play of Colombia. You could see with the naked eye that they had more speed than us. Those two goals are a positive thing. I mean the fact that you can see that the boys did not give up. They played with ambition to the end.

They scored the goals at the end, when, most likely, they had stopped the engines. At 3-0 they felt comfortable. Colombia were better than us and it showed in this game. They had that extra game speed and more talent. And it’s not for nothing that they haven’t lost 21 games.

I don’t think we have the power to play against teams like this. Probably, that is the value of our national team at the moment.

We have no control in midfield and automatically the possession was not what we should have. When you run after the ball for 80 minutes it’s hard.
