The Sibiu County Emergency Clinical Hospital sincerely apologizes to the patients who waited in line in front of the Specialty Outpatient Clinic on Hermann Oberth Street.

In order to avoid such situations, the hospital recommends that patients who wish to make an appointment also use the alternative options available in this regard, respectively on the scjus.ro website, in the section Patient information – Online appointments (https://scjus .ro/programari-online/ ) or phone numbers 0269/504120 and 0269/504121. These variants are accessible at any time.
“The situation we are facing, of the growing number of people who want to make an appointment at the same time or who are forced to appear several times at the Specialty Outpatient Clinic to make an appointment, also arises, unfortunately, from the fact that the funds received from the National Health Insurance House are insufficient to satisfy all requests as they arise. At the same time, from the discussions that the staff of the Outpatient Clinic constantly have with those who cross our threshold, especially during these busy periods, it was found that the online appointment system, although available, is not preferred by a large number of patients, especially elderly people or patients from rural areas, who do not have access to internet services or do not manage with this system. We also encounter the situation where patients show up at the Specialty Outpatient Clinic after making an appointment online or by phone, in order to ensure that the appointment has been made, all these aspects combined resulting in queues like the one reported the other day.
Once again, we apologize for the disturbing situation that dozens of patients have been in during this time and encourage those who wish to use alternative methods of making appointments. The Sibiu County Emergency Clinical Hospital is constantly looking for solutions to improve the services offered and communication with patients”, says a communication signed by manager Daniel Chelcea.
