A 69-year-old woman arrived at the hospital after being hit by a motorcycle while crossing the street in an undeveloped area. No major traffic problems are reported in the area.
According to the police, the accident took place on Panait Cerna street in the municipality of Sibiu.
“From the first investigations carried out, it emerged that, while she was crossing the road through an undeveloped place and without securing herself, a 69-year-old Sibiian woman was hit by a motorcycle driven by a 37-year-old Sibiian man” , the police report.
An ambulance with a doctor immediately arrived at the scene to provide first aid.
“The 69-year-old woman suffered a head injury and was transported to UPU Sibiu in a stable condition”, say the SAJ representatives.
