He is one of the most popular and admired soloists here, but Randi made a surprising statement the other day: he never really loved.

Invited to Ilinca Vandica’s podcast, Randi explained how he is with love, why he doesn’t see himself married and what a successful and fulfilled life looks like from his perspective. For many years, the singer who became known alongside Marius Moga, in the band Morandi, preferred to be alone. Not finding the right person, he did not indulge in relationships just for the sake of having them, but preferred to deal with his inner development.

Moreover, as he confessed in the online show, he does not believe that he has ever truly loved.

“I have never loved and I have the strength to say this because I understand that love and happiness are absolute feelings. It never leaves. People who tell me ‘I loved her’ make me laugh, but they broke up after three months. what did you love That you didn’t even know her. What could you love? A projection, the way you wanted it to be. where is the love It evaporated? From my point of view, love can last forever, that is, you also love people who have died. It’s not about women, it’s about me. You have to be ready, mature enough to love someone. It’s not hard to live like this, it’s not hard at all. First of all, you have to love yourself, you have to love life. Life is not about let’s love someone, let’s love everyone. Isn’t it nicer that way? (…) I haven’t found happiness, but I’m at peace, I don’t have dramas, suffering anymore. I learned to control my states of happiness and sadness. I don’t want to be a victim of the environment anymore, it’s better that happiness depends on you” Randi said in Ilinca Vandica’s podcast.

Opinions well grounded in his creed are also those related to religion or marriage, which he considers useless. He is not seen ever going to the Civil Registry.

“Do you still need papers to say that you love her and she loves you? I see marriage as religion. Two unnecessary things. (…) I think spirituality is a connection you have with yourself first, a search for truth and a connection with what is real and scientific. You can believe in white bearded men sitting in the Heavens, with all your relatives there, in a pure and innocent party that lasts forever, because 80-90 years is not enough here on Earth. You have to be naive to see things that way. (…) I for one do not know who this God is, if you tell me who he is, what he looks like, where he is, I can answer you. I am not afraid of Him. This priceless reward which is called eternity makes man make crosses, rosaries and other follies’, he also said.
