Earthquake in Kiev: Radical measures taken by Zelensky. One of his closest collaborators was fired

Today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree dismissing Alexei Danilov as secretary of the National Security and Defense Council.

The information appeared in a message of the press service of the presidency and was distributed by Ukrainian news agencies.

Immediately after this, a second decree was signed, by which the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Alexander Litvinenko, was appointed as the head of the National Security and Defense Council.

Litvinenko already has experience in security and intelligence. In addition, President Zelenskiy appointed a new head of the Foreign Intelligence Service. Oleg Ivashchenko, who was previously deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, was chosen for this post.

The new appointments come with high expectations of strategic changes in national security and intelligence, as well as shifting domestic political power balances.

Earlier, Danilov hinted at the scale of the operation that the special services plan to implement on the territory of the Russian Federation.
