A little girl told her parents that she had a monster in her room, but they ignored her. What they discovered after shocked him: “A nightmare”

A family in the US was in for a shock after their daughter complained for weeks that she was hearing noises in her room. What the child thought was a “monster” turned out to be a huge hive with more than 50,000 bees, writes People.

The little girl repeatedly told her parents that “there is a monster in the room” and that noises can be heard all night.

Ashley Massis Class, the girl’s mother, tried to explain to her that monsters do not exist, but the little girl insisted.

“He said he heard a monster in the bedroom wall, but we were watching a monster movie. He didn’t speak very well and when he tried to explain, we understood that he said he had a monster in the closet,” said the mother.

“I told him there was no one in the closet. We were making jokes like we were fighting the monster. I gave him a spray bottle full of water to spray the monster if he saw it. He was very scared. He stayed in our room and kept saying there were monsters in there. We thought maybe she was upset because I had just given birth in February and I had been pregnant and tired before,” said the mother.

A few weeks later, however, Ashley and her husband noticed some bees coming into their attic. They live in a 100-year-old farmhouse, so they decided to call in an extermination company.

“They told us they were bees, probably looking for a place to stay. They didn’t kill them because they’re endangered,” Ashley explained.

The couple then called a beekeeper to plug the hole through which the bees entered.

“Beekeeper after beekeeper told us that they are not in the house yet. They punched a hole in our bridge and said they couldn’t see anything. Until another noticed something though and found out that they were actually going into a wall that is above my daughter’s room,” said the mother.

The beekeeper went with a thermal camera to assess the situation.

“At first I thought it was a body. The beekeeper said it was probably a hive. He took a hammer and destroyed the wall. A bunch of bees came out, and streams of honey flowed from the wall. It looked like there was blood on my daughter’s pink walls. Very strange. It was a nightmare,” she said.

In the end, the beekeeper removed more than 50,000 bees from the chamber wall and several kilograms of honey.
