- The site was handed over to the contractor
The Harghita County Council is concerned with the modernization of the road infrastructure, so on May 7, the site was handed over to the contractor who will build the bridge on Sórét street, over the Corund stream.
The executor, ING Service SRL, estimated that it would complete the works in four months, with the bridge going to serve the Corund Waste Transfer Station.
The value of the investment is over 1.6 million lei.
Borboly Csaba, the president of the Harghita County Council, appreciated that, although the construction of a temporary bridge was not foreseen in the initial plans, it was agreed with the Corund mayor’s office that the support would be granted so that this necessity could be realized, being also in the interest of the county.
Until the completion of the works, the Harghita County Council asks traffic participants and residents for patience and support for the smooth development of the investment.
