The situation is still difficult for Simona. She did not enter any competition in the following days, so it is possible that Halep will lose some positions in the coming days. In addition, due to an injury, the former world number 1 will not be part of Romania’s Billie Jean King Cup team in the confrontation with Ukraine, scheduled for April 12 and 13, 2024.

The tennis player’s most likely appearance on the court could only be at the tournament in Rouen, France, from April 15-21, but even there the invitation or the fact that she would accept it has not been confirmed.
