In the context of the Romanian Police Day, today 26.03.2024, at the IPJ Timiș headquarters, a meeting was held supported by the management of the unit in which 33 policemen were promoted for exceptional merit in achieving special objectives in their professional activity in the next professional grade before the fulfillment minimum seniority, of which 8 officers and 25 agents.

162 police officers were promoted to the next professional grade upon completion of the term, of which 37 officers and 125 agents.

Also, in the same context, volleyball, football, judo and TIR sports competitions were organized, the rankings being as follows:

The 1st place in football was occupied by the Forensic Service, the 2nd place in football was occupied by the 2nd Timișoara Division, and the 3rd place in football was occupied by the Transport Police.

1st place in volleyball was taken by the Forensic Service, 2nd place by the Lugoj Police and 3rd place was taken by the Criminal Investigation Service.

At the TIR competition, in the emphasized category, the team consisting of Chief Agent Anton Alin and Principal Agent Stancu Paul (SAS Timiș) placed 1st. The team formed by Agent Marușca Sebastian and Agent Marușca Mădălin (SAS Timiș) was placed in 2nd place, and the team formed by Principal Chief Agent Kovacs Andrei and Principal Chief Agent Kocsis Ludovic (SAS Timiș) was ranked 3rd.

In the special category, the team formed by Cms-chief Goloșie Darius and Principal Agent Mania Rareș (Lugoj Police) was placed in 1st place, the team formed by Cms-chief Stoian Cosmin and Chief Agent Mitran Marius (Lugoj Police) was placed in 2nd place, and the team formed by Deputy Chief Agent Cojocaru Ciprian and Principal Agent Cotuna Silviu (Timișoara Road Bureau) was placed in 3rd place.

In the judo competition, in the +100 kg category, the 1st place was occupied by Principal Chief Agent Zuzac Claudiu (Lugoj Police), in the 73 kg category, the 1st place was occupied by Inspector Stanciu Nicolae (Timis Vocational Training Service), in the category 81 kg, the 1st place was occupied by Chief Constable Mihai Bataragă (Section 3 Timișoara), in the 95 kg category, the 1st place was occupied by Chief Constable Dejica Dorel (Lugoj Police), and among girls, the 1st place was occupied by Agent Covaciu Iasmina (Section 1 Timișoara).

Those placed on these rankings were rewarded with medals, cups, diplomas and various prizes.
