A house in Mihai Viteazu is offered for rent at a somewhat decent price, but with some mind-numbing requirements! (PHOTO)

If yesterday we marveled at the fact that there are still honest and fair owners on the real estate market, today we are shocked, once again, by the claims of owners who see no further than their own interests.

Today, a new ad appeared on the real estate market in which an owner announced that he is offering a house for rent in the Mihai Viteazu commune for a somewhat decent price, but which has mind-boggling demands from tenants.

More precisely, the owner wrote in the ad that the house was put up for sale before, but the offers were not accepted. The house must be furnished and equipped, and the owner is willing to do this, but only with the help of the tenants and only if they have an income of more than 2,000 lei per month.

A somewhat ok price, but absurd requirements

The ad states that the owner does not want someone who wants to rent, but someone who is financially strong enough to pay the rent, utilities, and the payment must be made 2 or 3 months in advance, and the rent depends of advance payment.

First and foremost, the tenant should not be responsible for furnishing a home, because if they choose to leave, what happens to the furniture? He can take it with him or stay with the owner and he will pay for the parts, if they offer to pay him, of course.

Second, if the tenant does not want to state the income? Will the landlord ask for proof of income from his last three years or how does this work? The tenant’s income is not the landlord’s problem at all. As long as the tenant pays your rent and utilities on time, you shouldn’t be “bothered” by this. Moreover, I think every person knows what their budget is and whether or not they can afford a certain rent.

Pay in advance for 2 or 3 months? I wasn’t wrong when I called some real estate agents or landlords “monsters”. I know that a deposit is paid at the beginning of a deal like this, but this deposit I know is again the original price of the rent that you will get back at the end of your stay if you haven’t damaged something in the home that needs to be changed or repaired thing. That’s what the “guarantee” is for, so that the landlord doesn’t have to pay out of pocket for the tenants’ damages.

The house has 80 square meters and consists of a room and a bathroom

Moreover, the house is small, having 80 square meters and is composed of one room and one bathroom. The price is somewhat decent, regardless of whether it is 200 or 220 euros, but to have these claims for a home that needs to be furnished and equipped… Let’s be serious.

“Read carefully! I rent a house of 80 square meters on a plot of 500 square meters in Mihai Viteazu: insulated with ten-thickness polystyrene, insulated ceilings on the inside, mineral wool on the attic, double-glazed windows and doors (some with 6 rooms and three rows of glass) are oriented to the south and west for high energy efficiency (reduced energy consumption/a gas boiler must be installed because we had a wood boiler).

The house was put up for sale, but the offers received so far do not suit me (also in real estate I wanted to invest the money/for rent). The house must be furnished and equipped (there is only one sofa left) and I want to do this together with future tenants (so that they can choose what they want according to their needs), if I find serious tenants – in the long term. If you have an income of 2000 lei per month (regardless of whether you are alone or with a family, don’t bother bothering me because I only rent it if I am certain that the future tenant can rent, not just want to rent). Considering that investments are needed, if the tenant pays an advance for 3 months, the price is 200 euros, and if the advance is (rent for 2 months), the price is 220 euros. What are you saying? Are these claims for this home worth it?
