PNL has launched its candidates for Oradea City Hall and Bihor County Council / Ilie Bolojan is running for a new term as head of CJ Bijor and Florin Birta at Oradea City Hall

Oradea Citadel hosted, on Saturday, the launch event of the liberal candidates for the Oradea City Hall and Local Council, respectively for the Bihor County Council. Ilie Bolojan is running for a new mandate as president of the County Council, and Florin Birta is running for a new mandate as mayor of Oradea municipality.

“At the end of the mandate, it is appropriate to thank the Bihoren people who trusted us in 2020 and were with us. Our form of respect for those who voted for us and for all Bihor residents are the projects carried out in these years in Bihor County and Oradea Municipality. In order to be able to continue these projects, we still need your support”, said Ilie Bolojan, the president of the Bihor County Council, according to a press release of PNL Bihor.

For his part, the mayor of Oradea Florin Birta said that “in 2020 we were coming to the people of Oradea with an ambitious but solid plan for infrastructure, industry, health, education, transport, quality of life, green Oradea, tourism, culture, youth and sports”.

“Almost four years have passed since then, and I am convinced that the people of Oradea have noticed the fact that together with the PNL team and colleagues from the Oradea City Hall, we managed to continue the tenacious, always tireless work done previously, in the mandates of Mr. Ilie Bolojan. Between 2020 and 2024, we attracted European funds to Oradea at an unprecedented level. Transposed into serious projects, they manage to stimulate the sustained development of our city. We will continue to invest in the road, school, health infrastructure, as well as in the green infrastructure of our city. We will build and rehabilitate schools, kindergartens, nurseries and apartment buildings. In the same way, we will seek to permanently improve the heating network, focusing on geothermal water, but also on other renewable energy sources. We will modernize and expand the water and sewage network, to meet the needs of the continuously developing city. We are aware that public transport is essential for the modern city and we will continue to invest in quality”, added the mayor of Oradea, according to the quoted source.

Birta also said that “the respect shown to the citizens of Oradea by the liberal local administration translates into projects that change the face of the city and the face of the county for the better”.

“This is the reason why we ask the people of Oradea, the people of Bihor, to trust the PNL team, in the future, so that the development path of Oradea takes on new dimensions, and the partnership between Oradea City Hall and the County Council generates new projects, aimed at increasing the quality of life , both in Oradea, in the Oradea Metropolitan Area, and in the entire Bihor county”, concluded the PNL candidate for a new mandate at the Oradea City Hall.
