A fire affected a bakery in Grumăzești commune, the firefighters managing to locate the fire that threatened to spread to the entire building. Three people evacuated before the arrival of emergency crews.
Today, around 11:35, a fire broke out at an economic operator specializing in bakery, located in Topolița township, Grumăzești commune.

“Forces and means of intervention from the Târgu-Neamț Fire Department were assigned to the place of request.
Three people self-evacuated until the fire brigade arrived. No one required medical attention.
When the firemen arrived, the fire manifested itself with an open flame and the release of smoke inside a room of the bakery with the possibility of spreading to the entire building.” – ISU Neamt sent
Firefighters acted quickly to locate and extinguish the fire, thus limiting the damage. The flames destroyed approximately 80 square meters of floor made of mineral wool and plastic paneling, as well as 20 square meters of sandwich panel.
The preliminary cause identified for the fire outbreak is a chimney/flue that was not properly thermally protected from nearby combustible materials.
