The beta version of the WhatsApp application for Android received, following the latest update, a so-called dialer, similar to the one in the application dedicated to phone calls on smartphones.
With this dialer, one can type the digits and call any phone number to talk even to people whose phone numbers are not already saved.

Thus, users avoid having to add a number to their phonebook before they can make a call via WhatsApp.
This feature is being tested alongside a similar feature that allows messages to be sent to new numbers that are saved in the phonebook.
Both functions are meant to facilitate communication with people other than those known and saved in the contacts book, in what represents another series of facilities that WhatsApp should have had for a long time.
It is not yet known when the two new options will be launched and when all users will be able to use them.
