The former mayor of Bucharest, Gabriela Firea, who is the current candidate of the social democrats for the post of general mayor of the Capital in this summer’s elections, was invited to the Marius Tuca Show, where she offered, among other things, a surprising statement related to her son nine years old, Zian.

Gabriela Firea told that she “dreams” at night about the projects that need to be carried out or that are already underway in Bucharest, since the time she was mayor of the capital and until now.

“Well, I dream about them at night (infrastructure projects, no). I dreamed of them for 4 years as mayor, I also dreamed of them afterwards when I was no longer mayor,” said Firea.

Moreover, the former mayor stated that one of the first words spoken by her son, Zian, was “infrastructure”, because she claims that she mentioned it extremely often in the discussions she had around the house.

“By the way, my youngest son, Zian, was two years old and he said ‘we are building the infrastructure’. So at two years old, one of the first words he said was ‘infrastructure’, as he heard me talking at home ‘infrastructure, infrastructure, infrastructure'”, says Gabriela Firea.

Zian is the second child of Gabriela Firea and Florentin Pandele, being born in 2015.

After being announced as the candidate of the Social Democratic Party for the position of mayor of the Capital, Gabriela Firea declared herself optimistic about her chances, in the support offered by the party’s leader, Marcel Ciolacu, and says that Bucharest “shows much worse than four years ago”.

“I trust my chances, because Bucharest looks much worse than four years ago, because there is a lot of mess, there are a lot of potholes, rats on the streets, unsanitary parks, nothing has been done with public transport, the network of heating system is damaged, for two years the 300 million euros, European funds, obtained by my team were not used and then it is normal, by comparison, for the people of Bucharest to consider that I had a better mandate and to return to the mayor’s office for to continue my projects and to come up with new projects”, explained Firea.
