A very popular application among young people is Snapchat. The social media platform also launched a ‘Snapchat+’ subscription some time ago and it brings more exclusive features to the users. In the past an AI assistant has been released by the company, and recently a new option has appeared, one that lets you turn your pet into an interactive, AI-powered bitmoji. I have more details below.

It’s worth noting that only Snapchat+ users have access to this option. You can choose to photograph your pet (dog / cat), and through artificial intelligence a model will be generated to represent it as accurately as possible. This bitmoji will appear in the app as the “MyAI” assistant.

The Snapchat+ subscription launched in 2022, and it offers exclusive access to this AI-powered virtual assistant. In addition, users have various filters and AI-generated snaps at their disposal. More and more companies are trying to integrate AI into their apps, and Snapachat is among the veterans. Even X.com (Twitter) is going to get interesting AI options, with Elon Musk already having a company working on an advanced AI model (x.AI).

Snapchat announced new features for its “non-premium” users as well. Templates appear that promise to simplify photo / video editing, a new swipe gesture designed to simplify sending and editing snaps. Additionally, users can now upload longer clips of up to 5 minutes.
