Today, Mirel Dragomir was visited by his family, more precisely by his mother, father and sister. Even the young man’s mother was visibly affected, who, with tears in her eyes, told us that it was very difficult and what they were going through. They brought him water and fruit, until he leaves for Bucharest, where he will undergo a psychiatric examination. Andrea’s father overturned the statements of the killer who told the investigators that he had a relationship with Andreea since December last year. Mirel was not her boyfriend, but only a friend. Andreea was friends with the criminal’s sister and that’s how she got to know him too, says the father. The girl allegedly refused his advances, and the individual became obsessed with her. Observator sources say that the medical student was butchered with 60 knife blows, and the criminal used two knives.

“I noticed that Andreea was typing on the phone and I thought she was talking to someone. I asked her who she was talking to, and she refused to tell me who she was talking to,” says the prosecutors’ report. It was the moment when the individual went out of his mind, blinded by jealousy.
