The FCU Craiova team defeated the Universitatea Cluj team 3-2 at home on Saturday, in the seventh stage of the Superliga play-out.
The Cluj players opened the scoring in Craiova, through Robert Silaghi, in the 16th minute, but the hosts equalized after only two minutes, through Baeten, and at halftime the score was equal, 1-1. In the 55th minute, Baeten gave Craiova the lead, scoring with a header, but Anselmo restored parity in the 74th minute.
Blănuţă managed to restore Eugen Trică’s team to the advantage, with a goal scored in the 76th minute and Craiova prevailed 3-2, obtaining an important victory. Craiova hadn’t won in the Super League since February 2, since 2-1 with Dinamo Bucharest.
In the ranking, Cluj University has 29 points and occupies the 4th place, and FCU Craiova climbs to 7th, with 22 points. With two stages before the end, Dinamo once again reached “Lneterna roumas”, in last place, with 21 points, tied with Botoșani and Poli Iași, who, however, have one game less.
