The fight on the turf from Dinamo – UTA Arad, the reason why the two teams will no longer play with spectators until the end of the season
On March 8, in the last stage of the regular season, Dinamo defeated UTA Arad, score 1-0, at the “Arcul de Triumf”, but reprehensible scenes took place before the start of the game.
The ultras from Arad received support from the “brothers” from CSA Steaua. The organization left much to be desired and several incidents prefaced the duel at the Arc de Triomphe arena.
The first fight took place an hour before the match, when the gallery made up of Arada residents and star players arrived at the stadium. The gendarmes had to use tear gas.
Things degenerated in the stadium. 10-15 minutes before the start of the match, a shower of torches was sent from Peluza Sud Dinamo towards the guests’ sector. In the created chaos, dozens of dynamoist ultras jumped onto the lawn to attack the rivals from Steaua and UTA.
The “military” ultras responded in kind. They jumped the guardrail, reached the turf and began to exchange fists and legs with their great rivals.
The gendarmes intervened late and used tear gas again, many spectators being affected by the effect of the substances. The start of the match was delayed by 8 minutes. Incidentally, all the matches that day were delayed because they were scheduled at the same time.
The suspension of Dinamo comes in the context in which several supporters of the “dogs” were “jumped” by masked men a few days ago. Police said there were 15 search warrants and 26 search warrants and summonses in the case.
