The policemen of the Criminal Investigations Bureau of the Târgu Mureș Municipality Police have identified and detained, for 24 hours, three men from Bălăușeri commune, suspected of committing the crime of qualified theft.

According to a press release from IPJ Mureș, the three people allegedly entered the home of a blind man, claiming to be employees of a public authority, sent to carry out some work on the building’s cables.

They allegedly did not comply with the requests of the injured person to leave the home, stealing 2,100 lei and two mobile phones from inside.

Following the investigations carried out, the police identified the persons suspected of committing the act, respectively three men, aged 20, 21 and 29, from Bălăușeri commune.

Those concerned were detained for 24 hours.

Also, the damage caused was fully recovered and handed over to the injured person.

Research continues in order to document the entire criminal activity, within a criminal file regarding the commission of the crime of qualified theft.
