“It was a very long and difficult Champions League season. We’ve had a player down since January, our number 1, Han Ying, who had surgery, and we basically took this part of the competition to just three players.
We are very homogeneous and understand each other very well, both when we are in the team schedule and outside of it. I have three Asian colleagues, Han Ying, Fu Yu and Xiaoxin, but there are no language barriers, because we communicate in English,” said Samara.

The component of the national table tennis team conquered the Champions League for the first time 9 years ago, while playing in Turkey.
Then, in 2015, she prevailed with her team, Fenerbahce Istanbul in the final against the Austrians from Linz AG Froschberg, with the overall score of 6-3 (3-2 in Austria and 3-1 in Turkey).
