In fact, he was also part of the Band of Outlaws that caught the attention of even those in the Hollywood industry.

More precisely, the band appeared in the cast of the movie “The Man Who Cried” and played alongside Johnny Depp and Cristina Ricci. Taraful is internationally recognized for the way he marked traditional music. On the other hand, with the disappearance of some prominent members, the shine of the band also began to fade.

Ionita carries on the tradition

Ioniță preferred to form his own band which was Taraful from Clejani at the beginning. Later, Ioniță and Viorica from Clejani appeared, accompanied by instrumentalists. The talent of the two was also recognized internationally, the Manoles being friends with Johnny Depp.

The two also tried to instill in their children a love for music. But in the end this project turned out to be a failure. However, both Marguerita and Fulgy could always return to better feelings towards music.
