The arrested man, considered by Europol to be a high-value target, had a European arrest warrant issued by the Romanian authorities for attempted murder and was previously considered the leader of the Hell Angels gang.

According to the Spanish Police, two raids and searches were carried out in Benalmádena (Malaga), at his usual residence and at a recently created company dedicated to the rental of vehicles, in which a firearm, 32 cartridges, white weapons and documents were confiscated false.

The investigation began as officers investigated the involvement of the MC Comanches biker gang in the road transport of narcotics from Spain to Central and Northern Europe.

During the investigation, at the end of last year, agents arrested one of the leaders of MC Comanches in Marbella because he had a European Arrest and Surrender Warrant from the German authorities after they believed he had direct links to drug trafficking between Spain and northern Europe.

Further investigations revealed that once arrested and handed over to Germany, the arrested man had left the leader of the motorcycle gang to handle the running of the illicit business.

Once the new leader of the criminal structure was identified, it was discovered that the MC Comanches leader was also wanted by the Romanian authorities for attempted murder.

The agents’ research, in collaboration with the German and Romanian police – coordinated by Europol – led to the discovery that the fugitive could live in the province of Malaga.

Later, the agents managed to establish the residence of the suspect in Benalmádena (Malaga), from where, according to the investigators, he would have coordinated the transport and distribution of narcotic substances in Central and Northern Europe with the help of vans.

In order to carry out the arrest, due to the dangerous nature of the suspect, the intervention of agents from the Special Security Operational Groups was necessary, who subsequently carried out two searches, one at his usual residence and the other at the vehicle workshop, writes news.ro.
