Open Day at the Danube Delta Airport in Tulcea! The climax of the event will be a spectacular air show and parachuting

More than a thousand children are expected today, April 26, 2024, starting at 10:00 a.m., at the “Delta Danube” Tulcea Airport, at the Open Doors Day, an event organized for the first time at the Tulcea county level, in the context of the completion of the investment works for the modernization of this airport.

According to a press release from CJ Tulcea, during the event, all Tulcea residents and visitors from the entire region are expected to visit the new airport facilities.

Thus, the guests will have the opportunity to visit the new terminal, but also to enjoy an impressive exhibition of military equipment, where the main militarized institutions from Tulcea county will compete, and a parade of restored cars with historical value, insured through the partnership with Retromobil Tulcea.

“All visitors, young or old, will be able to find out how beautiful and rewarding jobs such as firefighter, gendarme or policeman are and will learn more about everything that involves the intervention of these state structures.

The children will interact with the pilots, admire the planes landed at the airport and learn more about what it means to work in the field of air transport.

A Puma helicopter will also land at the Tulcea airport, there will also be a flyover with F16 planes, respectively two passes with a Spartan plane” – said the representatives of CJ Tulcea.

Starting at 1:30 p.m., the young people of Tulcea will be live witnesses of a demonstration by the rescuers of the “Delta” Tulcea Emergency Situations Inspectorate, who will show everyone, step by step, how to carry out an intervention for release.

All the people of Tulcea, big or small, are expected, starting at 4:00 p.m., on the platform of the Tulcea airport, where the Aeroclub specialists will draw in the sky with 6 high-performance aircraft, complemented by 3 ultra-light aircraft with smoke from the Pelicanii formation. They will also be able to admire the parachutists who will jump from the newest aircraft of the Romanian Aeroclub Fleet.
