Meteorologists issued, on Wednesday, a yellow code warning of atmospheric instability valid in several counties in the country. Bad weather will manifest itself in torrential downpours, frequent electrical discharges, hail, increased winds and gales.
After temperatures were higher than normal for the period earlier in the week and reached highs of 28 degrees Celsius in the plains, the weather has now turned unsettled. Meteorologists announce that temperatures will drop.
The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued a yellow code of unstable weather for 18 counties in the center, west and southwest of the country. The rain and lightning warning is valid on Wednesday, May 8, between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. Argeșul is also under a yellow code of heightened atmospheric instability.

On Wednesday, until 11 p.m., torrential showers, frequent electrical discharges, hail, intensification of wind and storms are announced in Oltenia, northwestern Muntenia, western and southwestern Transylvania, as well as in the Western and Southern Carpathians, the National Meteorological Administration announces .
According to meteorologists, in short periods of time or through accumulation, the amounts of water will be 20…25 l/sq m and isolated over 40 l/sq m. Such phenomena will be reported in limited areas and in the rest of the country.
