Adriana Bartha, forestry engineer and for a time spokesperson of the Bistrita-Năsăud Forestry Directorate, went to roam the forests of Cerului. Her journey on earth ended after two years of battling a relentless illness.
Adriana Bartha (49 years old) was diagnosed with cancer in December 2022. At that time, the Federation of Silva Trade Unions and the National Directorate of Forests supported the expensive treatment carried out both in the country and in Germany, and friends mobilized to come to his aid, one of them being the writer Sorin Gârjan.
On his Facebook page, he gave the terrible news today: Adriana Bartha died.
“What should God forgive you Adi?… We, the ones who stayed behind, can ask you for forgiveness. Forgive us if we did something wrong!… I really don’t feel like talking about Adriana Bartha God forgive her!… I leave the door through which he left us open. I can’t close it. And like me, I am convinced that there are many who feel the same…”, wrote Sorin Gârjan.
We also regret Adriana Bartha’s hasty departure from this world. He was a man full of life, a professional in the true sense of the word, dedicated to the forest and its beauties, a man who generated so much beautiful news.
Grieving, we extend our sincere condolences to the family and all who knew and loved her. This world will be much poorer without Adriana Bartha.
