The policemen of the Baia Mare Road Bureau intervened on Tuesday morning, around 06:00, at a road accident in the village of Satu Nou de Jos.
After going to the scene, the police established the fact that a 21-year-old man, driving a car on Republicii street, lost control of the direction and collided with two road signs, a concrete pillar and the fence a building.
“The extrication crew, 1 SMURD first aid crew and 3 ambulances of the County Ambulance Service went to the scene of the event. There were 4 victims, aged between 18 and 22, one of whom remained incarcerated. He intervened to extract it, the victim being unconscious. Following the medical evaluation, it was found that two of the victims suffered different traumas. All four victims are transported to the hospital by the crews on the spot”, the representatives of ISU Maramureș said.
According to IPJ Maramureș, four victims resulted from the road accident, namely the driver and three passengers aged 18 and 21 from Seini. The victims were transported to the Baia Mare County Hospital for specialized medical care.
The driver could not be tested with the breathalyzer, but biological blood samples were collected.
The police are conducting investigations to establish all the circumstances of the road accident in a criminal file for personal injury due to negligence.
