Pro iPhone models continued to grow in popularity and dominate the top of the best-selling smartphones in the first quarter of this year, reports News.ro.
According to Counterpoint Research, Apple and Samsung share the top ten positions of the top of the most popular smartphone models, with the iPhone taking the top spots.
iPhone 15 Pro Max was the best-selling smartphone, followed by three other Apple smartphones: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 14.
Samsung smartphones appear in the top from fifth place, starting with Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy A15 5G.
Compared to the same period last year, progress can be seen for the Pro versions of the iPhone. If in Q1 2023 iPhone 14 Pro Max was in second place, overtaken by iPhone 14, now iPhone 15 is in second place, and iPhone 15 Pro Max climbs to first place.
It is obvious the increase in popularity of the Pro models of the iPhone, which are sold more expensively and bring a higher profit margin for the iPhone. They ended up accounting for half of all smartphone sales made by Apple.
