Torrential rain warning in Prahova. A new wave of snow in the mountain area

At altitudes above 1500 m, precipitation will gradually turn into sleet and snow.
The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued, on Thursday, a new rain weather warning. In short periods of time or through accumulation, water quantities of 15…25 l/m2 will be recorded locally, and a new wave of snow will be recorded in the mountains.
ANM issued, on Thursday, a new weather information about rains, a warning valid until Friday, April 26, at 06.00.
ANM announced that it will rain in the south, center and east of the country, including in Prahova.

“There will be mainly showers, which in the southeastern regions will be accompanied by electrical discharges, short-term intensification of the wind and isolated hail.

At altitudes above 1500 m, according to ANM, mainly in the Southern and Eastern Carpathians, there will be precipitation in the form of sleet and snow.
