The Minister of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities, Natalia-Elena Intotero, on the occasion of the National Youth Day, announced today that this year there are over 15,000 places in the camps, 6,000 for students, 4,000 for young people with disabilities, Olympians, young people from single-parent families and disadvantaged backgrounds, orphaned children between the ages of 14 and 18, where they learn the main life skills.

Also, in partnership with the Department for Romanians Everywhere, with the support of the County Directorates of Youth and Sports and the Romanian Patriarchy, the ministry is organizing this year the 15th edition of the Camp Program “ARC 2024” where children will participate from the diaspora and historical communities.

“Today we celebrate the energy and creativity of our young people. I firmly believe that young people represent the future of Romania, and all our efforts and hopes for the better must be dedicated to them. […] The first thing I notice when I work with young people is the strong motivation to come up with simple and innovative solutions to the problems we all face, whether in society or administration, whether at work or in various life situations,” sent by Natalia Intotero, in her message on the National Youth Day, according to AGERPRES.

“The national competition for youth and student projects has just ended. The total budget for the year 2024 is 3,000,000 lei, distributed for the financing line for youth projects in the amount of 1,500,000 lei and for the financing line for student projects 1,500,000 lei. Maximum limit per project of 150,000 lei. The Family Start and Student Invest loans, but also the IVF program – a program that we want to be unlocked and start as soon as possible – all of these come to the support of thousands of young people.

Also, during this period, the Ministry of Family, Youth and Equal Opportunities, in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organizes the stages of file selection, interview and final debate for the selection of the two youth delegates from the “Youth Delegate to the United Nations” Project ‘, the 2024-2025 session”, recalled Minister Intotero.
