An Ecuadorian beauty queen was found by mobsters after revealing her whereabouts on Instagram and did not escape with her life

A former Miss Ecuador contestant, Landy Parraga Goyburo, was fatally shot in the restaurant where she was dining, after a post announcing her whereabouts. Her name had been linked to a drug dealer who had been killed in prison.

Landy Parraga Goyburo was shot after she posted a photo on Instagram of herself serving seafood at a restaurant in the city of Quevedo. That’s how her killers found out where she was.

According to information from The Telegraph, the 23-year-old had just published the photo, when two armed men burst into the restaurant and shot her several times.

Police are investigating the case amid suspicions that the murder was ordered by the widow of a drug lord with whom Landy was believed to have had an affair.

The incident, captured on surveillance cameras, shows the young woman talking to a man as two other armed men approached the restaurant. One stopped at the entrance, while the second started shooting. The young woman and the man she was talking to were shot.

The attackers then fled the scene.

Landy was apparently shot three times and died.

In her latest post on her Instagram account, the young woman is photographed in an orange swimsuit, and the message accompanying the image is: “Life is an echo, what you send out comes back to you.”

Landy Parraga Goyburo was an Instagram influencer and beauty queen who placed 5th in the 2022 edition of Miss Ecuador.

According to reports in The Telegraph, she was allegedly the girlfriend of Leandro Norero, a married drug dealer who was killed in a prison riot 18 months ago. Investigators found photos of the beauty queen on his phone and evidence of lavish gifts he had given her, including apartments and cars.
