Poli E-FEST – powered by Vodafone brings together the most beloved influencers of the moment, experienced gamers, and promises a memorable and adrenaline-filled atmosphere. The diverse program includes competitions such as League of Legends, FC2024, Counter Strike 2 and Brawl Stars Whether the audience will connect on Twitch or be physically present, the 4 ambassadors of video games will be with those present at the event throughout it.

According to statistical data, the video game industry is constantly growing, generating a global revenue of more than 150 billion dollars in 2023. The perspective on gaming as a simple form of entertainment among young people is gradually changing, and the data shows a surprising diversity in this category: according to a recent study, the average age of video game players is around 34, and 45 % of them are women. These figures contradict stereotypes and highlight the fact that gaming is an inclusive and valued activity across all age and gender categories.

Vodafone Romania joins the biggest video game championship in the country as the main sponsor, supporting the gaming community in Romania. The initiative is part of Vodafone’s efforts to support Romania for all Romanians, including gamers, and their unlimited potential. Vodafone supports all generations and encourages gaming culture, which is more than just a hobby. POLITEHNICA Bucharest and Vodafone thus continue the partnership started in 2023 through the Innovation Hub, the first center of excellence for digital research and development.
