UPDATE: VIDEO: ACCIDENT in MOISEI – Six people injured after a collision between four cars

According to vasiledale.ro, it seems that four cars were involved in the accident.

Two SMURD crews and several police crews intervene at the scene of the accident. The driver of a VW Passat is seriously injured. Five other people (three adults and two children) suffered minor injuries.

The four cars involved in the accident were destroyed. Road traffic between Vișeu de Sus and Borșa is blocked.

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that traffic is being diverted to secondary streets, by directing the police, after four cars were involved in a collision, as a result of which six people suffered minor injuries.

Traffic is expected to resume under normal conditions after 22:30.

Last night, the police intervened in a traffic accident on DN 18.

Following the investigations carried out, it was determined that a 50-year-old man from Moisei, who was driving a car within the radius of his residence, allegedly tried to overtake, entering into a head-on collision with a car driven from the opposite direction by a young man from 28 years old.

Following the impact, the car was projected into another car which, in turn, hit a fourth car.

Three people were transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

All drivers were tested with the breathalyzer device, the result being 0.70 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air in the case of the driver who allegedly tried to overtake. Biological blood samples were collected from him, in order to establish the degree of alcoholemia.

A criminal case has been drawn up in the case and investigations are continuing.
